Everyone needs friends. Friends are actually very important in our life. However, do ever think what are the good characteristics of friends that we need to choose as our best friends? This is important because good friends will always stay with us whatever condition we are. So we need to find true friends, however, what are the characteristic of true friends? Here are some characteristics of true friends.
First and the most important thing is honest and sincere in relationship. A good friends may not share every detail of every second of their life, even of his or her problem will share with us because he or she though that it will burden us. But they do try to be clear about their intentions. This means that they try to present an accurate picture of who they are and of different situations. When something does not seem right they let you know.
Second is supportive. A true friend is very supportive of you and your goals or missions. For sure your friends may think you are cool, but are they on the same page as you? Do they know what you want most out of your life? A really good friend will know what makes you tick and help you become the person you want to be. They would not try to change who you are or drag you into situations that make you uncomfortable or put you at risk of losing you are in trouble.
Next is caring and loving. A good friend makes it clear that they care about you and show that they love you. Different people may have different ways of letting you know that they care about you. One person may give you a big hug another person might gently tease you. A big clue that someone cares is that they talk to you fairly often and, in general know what is going on in your life and act interested about it.
Last but not least is a good friend will always stick together either it is a good or a bad time. Loyalty is a quality almost everyone lists when asked what they look for in a friend. A loyal friend will stick with you when you are new play is flop, when you bomb the SATs or when your parents get divorced. If you move or switch school, they will do their best to stay in touch with you.
In a nutshell, those are the qualities of true friends that we need to find. However, we, ourselves should try our best to be the best among of our friends and not just rely on friends. Lastly, friends in need is the friends indeed.
