THE FIRST TIME I MET SOMEONE WHO BECOME IMPORTANT TO ME

The particular moment when I first met him was very vivid in my memory. It was raining cats and dogs on that day. It was very late in the evening and I was sitting on the bench at the bus stop waiting for a taxi. My clothes were wet and I felt really terrible at that time. Everything seemed to be not working great for me on that day and it was until the moment I met him.

I was supposed to go to my best friend’s house to celebrate her birthday. The party was going to start at 5 p.m. and I was getting ready to go to her house. I got into my car and started the engine but it did not start. I tried for a few times but still the car could not start. I was very angry at that time and I look at my watch. The clock showed 4.30 p.m. and I was late. I decided to ride a taxi and started walking to the bus stop. All of a sudden the cloud became dark and rain started falling. I quickened my pace and the rain fell more heavily. My clothes were already wet when I arrived at the bus stop. It was already 4.50 p.m. and there were no sign of any bus or taxi.

After some time, a car stopped in front of the bus stop. I glanced at the car and could see that the driver was a man. I ignored the car and started looking away. The man suddenly walked out from his car and started walking towards me. He then asked me where I wanted to go and offered me a lift. I felt grateful that someone wanted to help me but at the same time I was quite afraid to accept his offer. At that time a lot of negative thoughts came to my mind like maybe he wanted to kidnap and sell me or maybe he was a serial killer but I tried to think positively. I told that man where I wanted to go and who knows what God has planned, that man was also heading to the same area as my friend’s house. We got into the car and started talking to get to know each other. His name is Imran and he works as an engineer.

We arrived at my friend’s house and Imran was about to leave when suddenly my friend stopped him from leaving. My friend asked him to join the party and he accepted. I introduced him to all my friends and called him my life saviour. We had a great time and had fun at the party. It was time for us to go home and I exchanged my phone number with him. We said our goodbyes and he went home. My friends told me that he is good looking and teased me. Imran and I kept in touch and turns out he became very important to me and now I am Imran’s lawfully wedded wife.
