FIVE-PARAGHRAPH EXPOSITORY ESSAY

My Country, My Home

                           I love Malaysia. Not just because of the fact that I was born here but mostly because beyond doubt, Malaysia is a great country. For me, Malaysia is unique because of its diversity of races, religions and cultures. It is a stable country, among one of the safest country in the world to be call home. Malaysia also have many places of interest under it’s roof. On top of that, Malaysia have achieve so much internationally. Malaysia’s achievements are the pride of our nation.

           Malaysia is a multiracial country. Diversity of races, religions and cultures is a significant characteristic of our nation. Our country is rich with cultural heritage. Various cultural and religious festival are celebrated among Malaysian, the Malay celebrates  Hari Raya, the Chinese celebrates Chinese New Year, while the Indian celebrates Deepavali and not to be forgotten of the many others ethnic’s celebrations. But above all the differences, needless to say, we, the Malaysians, celebrates it all together under the same roof. We live harmoniously together, we share our culture and we embrace our diversity. We always strive to strength the ties among us. That’s what make us and our country great despite of our differences.

          The stability and peacefulness of Malaysia are also what makes it unique and stand out among other developing countries. There have been no war or conflicts in Malaysia. War is dreadful and it  deteriorate human’s live. We are very fortunate that our country is safe and runs off the war. Besides, our country is free from natural disasters such as earthquakes. Earthquakes may bring death, destroy many buildings, and cease our dynamic economic growth. Therefore, we should always be grateful that we lived in such a harmonious country. Malaysia is truly unique because of it’s stability and peaceful environment.

         Further interpret, Malaysia holds natural beauty in it’s environment and surrounding. Malaysia consists of many potential tourism terrains such as beautiful sandy beaches, bunches of admirable islands, amazing rain forests and mesmerizing scenery all over the country. The diverse species of animals and plant life continue to excite a great deal to nature lover and scientific researchers . Many believe that some undiscovered plant may hold cures to many currently incurable human diseases. There are many islands in our country such as Pulau Langkawi, Pulau Redang, Pulau Ketam and many others. Malaysia also have various historical site for those who are in favour of history to visit and explore. The tourism industry in Malaysia growing and expanding instantaneously. Moreover, all of the tourisms sites in Malaysia are well-established and are very ideal for visits. This proofs that Malaysia are among the finest and well-guarded vacation spots in the world.

            Following this, there are also international achievements of our country. Those achievements include the existence of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), Formula One (F1) racing circuit and the Petronas Twin Towers. KLIA is unique because it has all that is needed for business, entertainment and relaxation within its boundaries. The airport is part and parcel of the Multimedia Super Corridor where high technology industries are being actively developed. Nevertheless, there is a Formula One Race Track near the airport, so foreign car racing enthusiasts from all over the world can come for a visit to gather here. Besides that, Petronas Twin Towers which is a building that soars 452 metres into the sky is once upon a time, the tallest building in the world and yet it is a national pride to the people of Malaysia.

            In conclusion, Malaysia is unique that it has diversity of races, religions and cultures, a stable and peaceful environment, places of interest and some internal achievements. Those are important characteristic of our nation. It is rich of cultural heritage. I am proud to be Malaysian.
