One Man Band

One Man Band!!
Another masterpiece from PIXAR..
The message that we clearly see as clear as crystal in this story is YOU MUST CONTROL YOUR FEELINGS!!! Why? The reason is clearly showed in this story. The Two musician conveyed a characteristic of the one who have a competing spirit among them, to attract the listener and have them to donate coin as appreciation sign but the greed in their heart grow with exceed rate making them compete and end up with tips jar without coin. During the credit in this story, the two musician become allies to get the coin in the top of fountain that cute face girl throw with no guilty feeling. On the other hand, the cute girl in early minutes in this story carry good attitude which is generous, she got a feeling to donate the coin to the musician, but become confuse and scare because of the two musician seems like trying to forcing her to get the coin. The turning point starts when the coin that own by the cute girl fall into the drain, the girls feel so angry, asked for compensate from the two musician but of course the both musician have no money. A s last resort she asked for a small violin fro the musician that played violin. After several times tune up the violin, she played like professional and end up with a bag full with gold coin, and with cute face that hold the angry, smile and throw two gold coin into the fountain with smile, evil smile. From the nice innocent cute girl turns up to be heartless cute girl because of a coin. This situation also can be the irony of this story, ONE MAN BAND!!!

Do you agree that children should never be educated at home by their parent? I strongly disagree that children should be educated at home by their parent. I have some reason to oppose it. It is not traditional class that they will study at home by their parents; there is no higher recommendation form higher learning education, and children will not follow direction from their parent. It is really important to send children to traditional school.
To begin, learning at home by parent is not traditional classes that children have learned from school. For instance, parents can not teach their children all the time. According to Judge Mangum said, "You've done well in home schooling, done a good job." But he then ordered that the children be placed in public school. I think they'll do better in public school. Despite the fact that two of the children are already two grades ahead for their age’’(15). They could not provide information to their children because most of parent has lack of education. In traditional classes children has learned from an instructors who qualified by teaching program. These instructors have lessons plan how to be educated their students. Moreover, these instructors have proofed by higher learning program. Learning at home by parents is increased bad moral and listening. Because I say this, most of children will not respect their parents when parents order them to do something. Therefore, it is really important to send children to traditional class.
Secondly, learning at home by parents is no recommended from higher education. According to a parent said, “It is my intention to be a better influence on my children than their favorite teacher! I want to be my children's hero! I want my children to know that I may not know it all, but I will ALWAYS at least attempt to find the answers to whatever it is that is plaguing their minds. And if my plan goes well, they will be the same way and always seek more knowledge!! The worl
d is our classroom!!’’(20). For instance, parents could not provide learning labs at home. In class rooms, children have to learn face to face through their instructors and have practical ways by their activities. Children who would like to continue their education must go to traditional classes. Moreover, parents could not support their children all the time because they have outside jobs to support their family. They will be busy to provide their children by teaching them. I suppose to reveal that every child can be educated only from school than learning at home by their parent. Children could not be educated from their parent such as various problems that they have learned.
Thirdly, children could not follow direction from their parent when their parents try to teach them. I have seen that most of children don’t have obedience from their parents and they mostly oppose their parents. As Judge Mangum said, (Public school will "prepare these kids for the real world and college; be able to also have socialization." Despite the evidence clearly showing extra-curricular activities, field trips, ample opportunities for socializing, and preparation for the "real world."(Internet) For instance, if parents will teach them at home, children will listen and do their work. They will ignore what their parents assign to do. Furthermore, children will not do assignment when they have learned from their parents. In traditional class, children must follow their instructors what they assign to do their assignment. Children can learn quickly through their instructors and children will be a good listener and moral.
To summarize, it is significant to send children to traditional class in order to success in their lives. Children should never be educated at home by parents such as, it is not traditional class that they will study at home by their parents, there is no higher recommendation form higher learning education, and children will not follow direction from their parent.

The Production And Sale Of Cigarettes Should Be Made Illegal.

Today, citizens are bombarded with abundant of campaigns that persuade people to stop smoking. Smoking is no doubt brings harmful in its every ways. There is nothing good about them. Therefore, on the topic of production of cigarettes should be made illegal, I strongly agree.

The effects of smoking on human health are serious and in many cases, deadly. Cigarette smoke contains over 4,000 chemicals, including 43 known cancer-causing compounds and 400 other toxins. These include nicotine, tar, and carbon monoxide, as well as formaldehyde, ammonia, hydrogen cyanide, and arsenic. The ingredients in cigarettes affect everything from the internal functioning of organs to the efficiency of the body's immune system. The effects of cigarette smoking are destructive and widespread.

Nicotine in small doses acts as a stimulant to the brain. In large doses, it's a depressant, inhibiting the flow of signals between nerve cells. In even larger doses, it's a lethal poison, affecting the heart, blood vessels, and hormones. Nicotine in the bloodstream acts to make the smoker feel calm. Most of the chemicals inhaled in cigarette smoke stay in the lungs. The more you inhale, the better it feels but the greater the damage to your lungs.

Teenagers are the most affect population. They mainly tried their first tobacco in fifth or sixth grade and felt great. And even some of them smoking just to have fun hiding their smoking habit. They totally don’t understand the effects of smoking. Then obviously, there are no such ways to stop their bad habits but stop making cigarettes. That is the only way to make sure our next generation have a better life.

Thus, what is the point to keep these evil things around? Instead of losing money spent on billions anti-smoking campaigns that nobody cares, the best way is production of cigarettes should be forbidden.

Does modern technology make life more convenient, or was life better when technology was simpler?

Technology can be viewed as an activity that forms or changes culture. Additionally, technology is the application of math, science, and the arts for the benefit of life as it is known. A modern example is the rise of communication technology, which has lessened barriers to human interaction and, as a result, has helped spawn new subcultures; the rise of cyber culture has, at its basis, the development of the Internet and the computer. Not all technology enhances culture in a creative way; technology can also help facilitate political oppression and war via tools such as guns. As a cultural activity, technology predates both science and engineering, each of which formalizes some aspects of technological endeavor. I strongly agree that modern technology make life more convenient.

Firstly, modern technology improves our daily communication. Latest news and discovery could be known in matters of seconds with the improvement of technology in the fields of communication. In olden days, we contact or get in touch with each other by writing a simple letter which might take times to reach the receiver. Later on, large and bulk telephone were discovered which currently been simplified into small mobile phones.  Now a day, we could even do video conference between one to five different people at the same time with the help of camera phones and internet. One could just Skype around to talk with his or her friend from another part of the world as long both of them are connected via internet. They could also perform high quality video call as long as both have a high definition camera fixed to their computer or laptop. This advancement in technology is amazing as neither both of the parties involved could do this for free of charge. Hence, modern technology connects one other in a quicker manner and how could we agree if someone says life was better when technology was simpler. If one agrees to that statement means he or she thinks writing long letters which might take months to reach the receiver is better than instant video call.

Besides, improvement in modern technology saves our time in traveling due to advancement in modern transportation system. Traveling from one continent to another continent consumes time if travelled by sea. When sails were used travelling from   the continent of Asia to the continent of Australia took months. Later on with the instalment of diesel powered motor the journey was shorten by half. Currently with the availability of commercial high speed airplanes the journey only takes 4 hours of flight. The advancement in commercial airplane was seeing by the world with the successful flight by the Concorde where the plane flew in the supersonic speed or speed of sound. However due to some safety and environmental reason the flight’s operation was stopped. In road system’s people could avoid traffic problem with the help of internet and general packet radio service (GPRS). One could plan his travel destination or find his route to a certain place with the help of GPRS. This system shows the person where and how he can reach a desired destination. The user only has to key in his current location and desired destination and the system will show the direction. The internet on the hand can be used to plan a right time to travel to avoid traffic and also show if the route that going to be used is safe or accident free, any roadblock by the police which might delay the journey or even the weather conditions in that particular area. How would life be without all this development and yet people believe this entire advance is not necessary.

Moreover, research and discovery in the field of energy has improved the lives of mankind. The basic kind of energy everyone need is light where it can be simply obtain by burning a candle or anything which contain carbon. However this source of energy produces harmful gases such as carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide which thins our ozone layer. In the 1900’s petroleum and natural gas was the most used energy source which polluted the earth. In current time, due to the intensive research in this field scientist found an alternative energy source such as hydroelectric energy, wind, bio-fuel, solar and nuclear energy. The basic form of energy the world gave to the human were no other than wind and solar. Windmills were created and placed areas with strong wind to rotate the motor to produce electrical energy. Heat energy from the sun itself is captured with solar panels and converted into electrical energy. Animal waste and other waste gasses produced by decomposed product is collected in a high pressured cylinder and used to power vehicles instead of using petroleum which is expensive. This substance is called biofuel. There are many types of basic energy source that the earth can offer but they are under research to commercial it such as wave energy and geothermal energy sources. The other type of energy source which is undergoing pressure from many parties is nuclear energy. Many claims this energy is not safe and dangerous due to the incident occurred in Chernobyl. However, this energy is cheaper and produces a large amount of energy which can be used for a very long time. Advancement in this field ensures that this energy can be used in a safer manner. The incident in Chernobyl occurred for a very long time and people could relate the same might occur again as the technology have improved and many safety measurement were taken if such incident might occur again. The waste material of nuclear energy also can be used again to reduce down the radiation for safer disposal in future and yet people claim it that it is still not safe.

Besides that, advancement in the field of medicine or health has improved the well-being of human kind. This advancement has saved many people’s life. A simple tumor or cancer could not be discovered in early sign as signs of symptoms will only be presence as the illness gets serious. Once the illness became serious there is a negligible amount survival chance. Early diagnosis could determine the level of seriousness of the sickness and safety precautions and operation could be done to save the life of the patient. A simple headache or a gastric pain could be simply lead to misconceptions which could be life threating. A simple diagnosis which could be half an hour could produce instant result whether it’s a normal pain or life threating disease. If it’s a normal pain the doctor can prescript a paracetamol or painkiller to stop the problem from occurring again. Problem regarding infertility could also be solved with the advancement of medical science. A simple pill could increase the production of sex hormones which increases the productions of gamete. In current time, a doctor could also predict the date when a baby will be born based on ultrasound and other machines. The gender of the offspring could be predicted and any complication during labour can be known before the labour. All this information will help the doctor and nurses to take early precaution to perform the delivery smoothly with less complication. In olden days, a person could only donate his or her blood but with the advancement of modern technology a person can also donate other major organ such as kidney and liver. Once the donor passed away and his organs are in good shape, the organ could be removed and transplanted into other patient who needs it the most. Last time a disease in a donor could not be determine and possess harm when organ or blood transplant is done but in current time the conditions of the organs can be determine. The donor can be diagnosis and checked to prevent any of the donated organs is free from life threating disease such as Acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) and Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). This discovery not only prevents the transfer of this disease from one into another but also safe the victims life.

As a conclusion, modern technology makes life more convenient. I disagree with the statement that life could be simpler without modern technology. Life will never be the same without all this advancement. As stated above, modern technology had helped many people in many ways and yet there are some communities of people disagreeing with this. We will suffer and find a lot of difficulties in our daily life without the presence of modern technology. Many problem and complications will occur if there is no modern technology to help in our daily life. Simple task will take more energy and longer time to perform. Early precautions could not be taken as we can never predict what might or can happen in the future. Last but not least modern technology has changed our living style, made work easier for mankind and is more convenient.

A DIFFICULT DESICION I HAD TO MAKE

It was in the mid of the March, everyone in my school were taking their SPM examination result. It was 10 in the morning and I can see my friend collecting their results. Some of the were very happy and surprised with their results as they did better than what they had expected. Others were satisfied with their results and some were disappointed as they performed badly. I went to the desk to receive my result. My teacher smiled at the results, the prefect who are assisting the teacher showed their thumbs up, showing that I did well. The teacher slowly handed me the result and I was shocked. I only received 2A+, 4A, 2A-, 1B+ and 1B. It was truly a disappointing and stressful moment but my friend started to congrats me by shaking their hand with me. Although I was one of the 8 students to achieve 8A’s but I am disappointed. There were only 2 people who achieved straight A’s in my school and I was frustrated with my result. I wish I could be one of them too.

I went back home and it was not a good sight in my home as my parents were disappointed with the result. What made me getting angry of myself is that getting a B+ in my Chemistry.  Up till the current day I will never believe that I got a B+ for my favourite subject. My chemistry teacher herself was surprised with that result as two of her student which she targeted to receive a A+ ended up with B+. I could get an A for my accounts which I studied the syllabus of two years in one year and I learned it myself by attending a 4 hours extra class but for Chemistry I ended up with a B+. I knew if I am going to receive a B it can only be in Biology as I never bothered to study it, Accounts or History. More surprising was I received an A+ for my History. I paid RM 50 to recheck my Chemistry paper after a week from the result been released and there was no change in my marks after 2 weeks. Thinking that staying disappointed and stressed up is not going to change my result, I started to find an institute for my higher studies.

For the start I applied for JPA scholarship for both foreign and local scholarship and matriculation. However I never gave a high hope to study in foreign as soon as I knew that I have only 2A+. It will be very difficult to even obtain a local scholarship what else about a foreign scholarship. Never less, I tried to find any scholarship that is available and applied it although I am did not fulfil the requirement. If I was not mistaken I send my 20 different scholarship application just in the hope that I can get one. It took me a wee to finish sending my extra co-curriculum certificate and curriculum vitae to the foundations that are offering the scholarship. It was turning bad as I did not receive any response to my application and most of my friends and cousins same age of me leaving to further their study in a higher institution.

Two weeks just passed, I was given a scholarship by JPA and other foundation’s scholarship. This is where I had to make a life changing decision. This was the decision that will change my future. I was offered to study in Universiti Teknologi Melaka (UTEM) in the field of electrical engineering by the JPA. It was a diploma and degree scholarship for 6 years and 6 month. Another scholarship was accountancy in a local university for 5 years. Both the scholarship is a bonded scholarship where I have to work for the government for 6 years. At the same moment I received my entrance to Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP), INTI international College and Nilai International College in the field of Mechanical Engineering and Electrical and Electronic Engineering as a self-sponsored or private student. It was a truly a difficult decision. I started to consult my teachers and parents to make a right choice. My parent prefers for me to take the scholarship but I had to consider about the long bonding period.

If I were to take the JPA scholarship I will be bonded for 6 years and it is a long time. I will be happy and satisfied if I was given Electrical and Electronics course instead of Electrical which has a smaller scope of career in the future. Another important aspect was it was from diploma the degree which takes an extra of 1 year and 6 months. Watching some of my friends who are self-sponsored doing the same course in 5 years makes it hard to make a decision. Moreover, some of them only have 1A and yet they will be finishing the same course quicker than me if I take the JPA scholarship. Later I considered about the accountancy scholarship. My teacher asked me to think deeply as she said am I truly interested to take it as an occupation in my future as she recall that I took accountancy for spm just to make a 10 subjects instead of 9 and not because of interest. I agree I took that subject just for the sake to make 10 subject and I was not interested to become an accountant in the future. After meeting everyone I personally know, my teachers and my friends I made a hard decision to decline both the scholarship. It was a hard decision to make after considering in many aspects.

Now I have to study with my parent’s money or take a PTPTN loan. I am interested in engineering and architecture. I started to find all the university that can offer me to such a course for a reasonable course fee. Besides I want to pursue my study in a truly and well recognised university. Nottingham Malaysian campus was the first to strike me but seeing its course fee made me to delete the choice from my list. I need at least RM 130 000 just to study excluding hostel and food. Later on there were many other good universities that offered the course of my choice but they were either too expensive or does not meet the standard required to be a good university. After that I took UTP as the institute to further my higher studies as it costs is indeed cheaper than all the universities that I saw and was among the best university in Malaysia. I had made a strong decision that I will pursue my studies in this university. There will be no turn back for me as I strongly want to pursue my studies here.

It’s already been a semester passed. I had made a critical choice in my life. I recall my teacher’s words that my first difficult decision will be when I have to choose my life destiny or career. I think this is the meaning of those powerful words. I have no regret after joining this institute as it is the best among the best university that I have seen.

PENANG

I was born I a state called Penang and lived there for the past eighteen years of my life. My father is born and leaves in Penang for the past 54 years of his life while my mother was from Kedah but after her marriage with my father she also lived in Penang until today. I live in a town known as Seberang Jaya. Penang is a beautiful state and unique state in Malaysia. Although Penang is the second smallest state after Pelis in Malaysia but it is a magnificent place. Penang is divided into two parts one is the island another is the mainland and is separated by The Straits of Malacca. The island is joined to the mainland by the Penang Bridge which is the fourth longest bridge in Southeast Asia. There are many beautiful and unique cultures and landmarks in Penang.

Firstly, the Penang Bridge is a beautiful and magnificent piece of modern engineering. The idea to build a bridge linking Seberang  Perai to Penang Island was suggested by the late Tun Abdul Razak, the second Prime Minister of Malaysia and the late Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu, the second Chief Minister of Penang in the early 1970. Penang Bridge was planned during the term of third Prime Minister, Tun Hussein Onn on the late 1970. On 23 July 1981,  works Minister, S. Samy Vellu announced that Penang Bridge would be constructed using the cable-stayed concrete girder of the San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge instead of the steel-tied arch in the style of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Construction of the bridge officially began on 1982. On 3 August 1983, the Penang Bridge is officially opened by the forth Prime Miniser, Tun Dato Seri Mahathir Mohammad. It was on 14 September 1985, the Penang Bridge is opened for traffic. This bridge is also the host for an international event known as the Penang Bridge Marathon. This event is held since 1985. This is the only time where the bridge is closed for traffic.

Besides, the capital of Penang is known as George Town is another magnificent and historical place is Malaysia. Many interesting event occur in this historical city. The city is named after Britain’s King George III.   One of the many events is George Town, became a city by a royal charter granted by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on 1 January 1957, becoming the first town in the Federation of Malaya to become a city. George Town together with Malacca Town is the first cities in Malaysia to be granted the UNESCO World Heritage Site status. Although George Town is a small city but it is considered as a metropolitan due to its high population. The city has a population of 1,253,748 making the city as the second largest metropolitan by population in Malaysia. If you are interested in history the historical city is the place. The earliest Malaysian history occurred in this place and its common and notable historical site is Fort Cornwallis. Besides that the Kek Lok Si Buddhist Temple is a magnificent building as it is the largest Buddhist temple in Southeast Asia and has the largest Kuan Yin statue in the world. Other interesting and mind blowing spots are the Kapitan Keling Mosque, Buddhist Khoo Kongsi and the Islamic Museum.
Penang is also famous for its beautiful beaches, flora and fauna. Among the famous beaches are the Monkey Beach or known as Teluk Duyung. This beach is declared the National Park of Penang and is the smallest National Park in the world. There are 7 other beaches which is also declared as National Park of Penang and they are Teluk Bahang, Teluk Tukun, Tanjung Aling, Teluk Ketapang, Pantai Keracut, Teluk Kampi and Pantai Mas. The unique features about this park are that it contains a collection of habitats not found in other national parks in Malaysia and has magnificent meromictic lake, wetlands, mangroves, mudflats, coral reefs and turtle nesting beaches. The meromictic lake in Pantai Keracut is the only lake meromictic lake is Southeast Asia and one of the two meromictic lake in the region of Asia. There is also a historical lighthouse in the park which is accessible through the far end of Teluk Duyung. This lighthouse was built in 1883 at a cost of £37,929 by the British, it is located 242 metres above sea level. Other famous and beautiful beaches are the Tanjung Bungah and Batu Ferringhi.

Penang is famous for its festivals throughout the year. The cultural mosaic of Penang naturally means that they are a great many number of festivals to celebrate. The Chinese celebrate, among others, the Chinese New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival, Hungry Ghost Festival, Qing Ming, and the feast days of various deities. The Malays and Muslims celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Hari Raya Haji, and Maulidur Rasul while the Indians observe Deepavali, Thaipusam and Thai Pongal. Christmas, Good Friday and Easter are celebrated by Christians. The annual Saint Anne's Novena and Feast Day draws thousands of Catholics to St. Anne's Church in Bukit Mertajam. Buddhists observe Wesak Day while the Sikhs celebrate Vaisakhi. Many of these festivals are celebrated in a large scale and are also public holidays in Penang. Bon Odori is an annual event held at the Esplanade by the expatriate Japanese population. The Penang Government organises the annual George Town Festival which celebrates the city's World Heritage Site status with arts and live cultural performances throughout the month of July. The famous Pesta Pulau Pinang (Penang Fest) is a combination of trade expo, family-oriented carnival and cultural events held throughout the month of December since the 1960s primarily at the Pesta site in Sungai Nibong and other locations in the state

As one takes the first steps into Penang the food is the think one should not forget to taste as the state offers a wide mouth-watering, tasty and eye catching cuisines. Penang cuisine is the cuisine of the multicultural society of Penang. Penang, long known as the food capital of Malaysia, is renowned for its good and varied food. Penang was recognised as having the Best Street Food in Asia by Time magazine in 2004, citing that "nowhere else can such great tasting food be so cheap". Penang's cuisine reflects the Chinese, Nyonya, Malay and Indian ethnic mix of Malaysia, but also shows some influence of Thailand. It’s especially famous "hawker food", many served al fresco, strongly features noodles, spices, and fresh seafood. The best places to savour Penang's food include Gurney Drive, Pulau Tikus, New Lane, New World Park, Penang Road and Chulia Street, as well as Raja Uda and Chai Leng Park over on the mainland. Penang is also famed for its traditional biscuits such as the tau sar pneah. If one visits Penang there are a few dishes one should not forget to taste and they are Laksa Penang, Nasi Kandar, Char Kway Teow, rojak and cendol. The cendol is one of the food one should not forget to taste. Cendol is a dessert with green noodles in coconut milk, brown sugar and shaved ice. There's a very famous stall along the busy street of Penang Road near the "spider" pedestrian bridge leading to KOMTAR. Another not so famous 'cendol' stall is located just opposite to it.

As a conclusion, Penang is a beautiful, magnificent and historical state in Malaysia. Penang which is also known as the Pearl of Orient might be a second smallest state in the country of Malaysia but has a magnificent tourist attraction which is full of flora, fauna and many historical sites. It is not only famous for the tourist attraction sites but also its uniqueness in its food variety. As a resident of this state I am proud to be a part of it.

Explain why you would or would not want to live in a large city

A city is a relatively large and permanent settlement. Although there is no agreement on how a city is distinguished from a town within general English language meanings, many cities have a particular administrative, legal, or historical status based on local law. For example, an article of incorporation approved by the local state legislature distinguishes a city government from a town in Massachusetts. In the United Kingdom and parts of the Commonwealth of Nations, a city is traditionally a settlement with a royal charter.[1] Historically, in Europe, a city was understood to be an urban settlement with a cathedral. Cities generally have complex systems for sanitation, utilities, land usage, housing, and transportation. The concentration of development greatly facilitates interaction between people and businesses, benefiting both parties in the process. A big city or metropolis usually has associated suburbs and exurbs. Such cities are usually associated with metropolitan areas and urban areas, creating numerous business commuters traveling to urban centers of employment. Once a city expands far enough to reach another city, this region can be deemed a conurbation or megalopolis. In my opinion living I would prefer to live on a large city.

Firstly, there is a wide working opportunity in a large city like Kuala Lumpur. As Kuala Lumpur is the heart of Malaysia or the capital of Malaysia there is a wide range of working opportunity. The city is also the heart of economy of the country. These features in the large city enable me to get a variety of jobs. The salary paid for an employee in a large city is higher compared to another employee in other regions. The workload is both employees is the same but the one working the large city earns more. In a large city I can gain more knowledge and experience regarding my work as many training regarding the job is given to me to improve my skills. All these experience enables me to get a promotion faster compared to others working in other region. This is also possible as many high ranked employees in the town like to move to different sectors or region due to promotion and work transfer. This situation leaves a vacant position which enables the lower ranked employees to fill up the vacant.

Besides that, a large city is also a center of education. In Kuala Lumpur itself, there are 13 tertiary education institutions, 79 high schools, 155 elementary schools and 136 kindergartens. This amazing feature enables me to increase my knowledge. I can enroll myself in one of the universities available in that location. University of Malaya which is one of the best universities available in Malaysia is located in a large city. Established in 1962, it is the oldest university in Malaysia, and one of the oldest in the region.  It is also the most prestigious tertiary institution in Malaysia, having been ranked first among the universities in Malaysia in the 2004 Times Higher Education (THES) international rankings. If I were to live anywhere else I would miss the opportunity to gain knowledge from such a great higher institute. If I have kids in the future a large city is the best choice to live as my children could study in a good school. For an example, Victoria Institution , Methodist Girls' School ,Methodist Boys' School , Convent Bukit Nanas and St. John's Institution are among the notable and high performing school in Malaysia. I would prefer my children to have a bright future by sending them to these high performing schools. They could also gain a lot of knowledge by joining these schools as good teachers and the modern features are available in these schools.

Moreover, it is easy to move around the city as there is a good transportation system. I can travel to work in a public transportation such as pubic bus or a monorail to avoid traffic. I can also travel around the city in a quicker and safer manner. If I want to take a flight to a foreign country, the city is nearer to an international airport and there is a wide variety of public transport to reach the airport. Most international flight routes are only available in large city. For an example, Senai International airport has a less variety of flight destination compared to The Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). There are also many alternative route available to travel to a single destination which allows me to choose the best route available and free the route free of traffic. The road system in a town is better compared to other region. This enables a person to travel faster and safer to his or her desired destination.

Besides, there is a wide variety of shopping complex and entertainment in the city which enables me to get something easier. Most of the latest application or gadgets are only available in major cities before other region it is available in other region. It is also easier to get any products or accessories in a large city as there are many different shopping complex and retail available. Most of the fashion clothing is also able in the large city. This enables me to up to date on the current fashion and not getting outdated. I can also release my work stress in an entertainment outlet which is mostly available in at major cities. It is also easy fix up any problem or repairs such as car repair as there are many mechanic shops available in a large city. I can also get a wide variety of design of a single item such as laptops as there are many shops selling the same item but different design, features and price. Hence, I can choose for the best among the best items available according to my taste.

The conclusion is, living in a large city is better compared to living in other part or region. There are a lot of facilities available in a city which is useful for a person. If I were to life in a village or a small city I will miss all these facilities and could not grow myself for a better future. Living in a large city also ensures that my children and my future generations gets a better future. In my opinion living in a large city is the best.
